Crafty Corner

Just in time to kick off the family feasting season, we bring you an idea for your glass-top tables: "Wallpaper" For Windows!™ placemats. Select any design -- the 16"x74" size works best. ("Pebble Privacy" is shown in the photos.)

Unroll the vinyl and flip it over so that the white backing paper is showing. Draw a horizontal line every 14", all the way down the sheet. Trace your desired shape within these sections. (View layout ideas.) Using scissors, carefully cut the vinyl at your markings. A 16"x74" sized sheet will yield 5 placemats.

Now, following the window film installation instructions, apply the placemat to the glass-top table at each place setting. Apply to the table's top, if you want to help prevent scratches to the glass. Or, if you would prefer to retain the smooth surface of the table, apply the placemat to the underside of the table's top. Just remember to apply the shiny side of the film to the glass surface.
